In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing acoustical ceilings in commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help create aesthetically pleasing, sound-absorbing environments that enhance the comfort and functionality of any space. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install acoustical ceiling tiles and panels according to project specifications and schematics Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation aligned with design intent Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes Prepare ceiling frameworks by installing suspension systems such as grid systems or furring channels Coordinate with project managers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow on-site Conduct quality inspections of installed ceilings to meet safety standards and client expectations Apply caulking, trim carpentry, or plastering techniques as needed for finishing touches or repairs Assist with demolition or restoration work when required, including handling glass installation or fixture mounting Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly throughout the project lifecycle Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles Experience with construction estimating, inspection, and site safety protocols Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation relevant to ceiling installation Knowledge of various construction disciplines such as carpentry, drywall finishing, masonry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete finishing Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and project documentation Ability to perform detailed fabrication work including framing carpentry or masonry tasks when necessary Strong understanding of construction codes, restoration techniques, fixture installation procedures, and remodeling processes Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and reading technical schematics or schematics for electrical or plumbing integrations Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform manual labor in various environmental conditions Join us in delivering exceptional interior solutions through skilled craftsmanship!
