Full Job Description Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation, service, or removal of flooring.
- Assist in preparing surfaces by sweeping, scraping, sanding, or chipping dirt and irregularities from base surfaces, and filling cracks with putty, plaster, or grout to form smooth, clean foundations.
- Assist in mixing and applying required compounds to join and adhere foundation and flooring materials.
- Assist in installing LVT, carpet, laminate, tile, and other specified products.
- Assist with keeping job site properly cleaned and maintained throughout installation process and all equipment, tools and materials are removed upon completion.
- A commitment to safety precautions of the trade.
- Hauling material and equipment in and out of job sites.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested and required.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Must be driven, self-directed and resourceful.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of tool and equipment safety.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean, current three year driving abstract.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires strenuous physical work including heavy lifting, working on hands/knees, pushing, or pulling objects.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, crawl, crouch, kneel, squat, and go up and down stairs.
- Work is performed indoors with the exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, dust, and other airborne particles.
