Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented LVP (Vinyl Plank, laminate, Glue down) Flooring Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly installing, repairing, and restoring various types of flooring, with a focus on LVP, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. Duties Measure, cut, and install luxury vinyl plank flooring accurately according to project specifications and schematics Prepare subfloor surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or underlayments for optimal flooring adhesion Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials while adhering to safety protocols Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and schematics to ensure precise installation aligned with project requirements Perform floor refinishing tasks such as buffing, sealing, and water damage restoration to maintain flooring quality and longevity Assist with other building material installations including tile laying, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and cabinet setup as needed Maintain a clean work environment by managing debris, organizing tools, and ensuring compliance with building installation safety standards Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation with specific expertise in vinyl floor installation and epoxy floor applications Strong knowledge of construction estimating, schematics interpretation, and reading technical drawings Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, hammers), power tools (e.g., saws, drills), and concrete finishing equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with construction site safety compliance standards and best practices for building installation projects Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces safely Experience with restoration industry processes including water damage restoration and floor care techniques Knowledge of related skills such as caulking, tile laying, hardwood floor installation, remodeling projects, buffing techniques, and fixture or cabinet installation is a plus Join our team to bring expert craftsmanship to life through quality flooring solutions!
