Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Floor Shield/Concrete Coating Installer Lead to join our growing River Valley Floor Shield team. This position is full time and involves preparing concrete surfaces and installing high-quality concrete coating systems in residential and commercial spaces, including garages, basements, patios, and shop floors. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering professional results and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Prepare concrete surfaces through grinding, patching, cleaning, and repairs Install epoxy, polyaspartic, and other concrete coating systems Apply decorative flake and topcoat finishes Operate grinders, vacuums, mixers, and coating equipment safely and efficiently Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members Follow company safety procedures and installation standards Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction Assist with additional shop or labor tasks as needed Qualifications Construction, flooring, painting, or concrete experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Clean driving record and eligible for DOT driving requirements Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor daily Comfortable working with hand and power tools Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn Dependable and punctual Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Occasional overtime work depending on project schedule Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid training Advancement opportunities Company tools and equipment provided Paid time off and benefits
