Job Description
•Travelling interstate is involved. Paid by the company. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various flooring installation techniques, in particular Epoxy, and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all flooring materials are installed correctly and efficiently. The Flooring Installer will collaborate with other tradespeople and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Duties Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas accurately. Install various types of flooring, including epoxy, tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet. Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing as needed. Perform floor care tasks such as buffing and refinishing. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job site. Experience Proven experience in flooring installation or related fields such as the restoration industry or maintenance person services. Familiarity with epoxy, tile laying, concrete finishing, drywall work, and general construction practices is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical specifications and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
