Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Flooring Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring a variety of flooring surfaces across commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities Install a wide range of flooring materials including hardwood, vinyl, tile, carpet, epoxy coatings, and laminate with precision and care. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute installation projects. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure flooring materials. Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion and durability. Perform floor refinishing tasks such as buffing, sanding, sealing, and water damage restoration to restore floors to their original beauty. Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation techniques to achieve seamless finishes. Adhere strictly to building material installation safety compliance standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation including hardwood, vinyl, tile laying, epoxy floor installation, carpet installation, and floor refinishing. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics. Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools necessary for precise flooring work. Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and building installation safety compliance. Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working on elevated surfaces safely. Knowledge of restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor care maintenance. Excellent carpentry skills including trim carpentry, cabinet installation, caulking, remodeling, concrete finishing, painting, buffing and fixture installation. Valid experience reading blueprints or schematics related to flooring projects; familiarity with blueprint reading is preferred. Must have reliable transportation.
