Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Flooring Installer to join our construction team. This project involves a full-service LVP flooring installation in a residential home, including carpet removal, furniture moving, and careful reinstallation of existing baseboards. Responsibilities Remove existing carpet and prepare the flooring surface for installation. Install approximately 790 sq. ft. of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring in the living room and bedroom. Move furniture out of the work areas and return it after installation. This is a required part of the job, as the homeowner is unable to move the furniture herself. Remove and reinstall existing baseboards; baseboards will be reused, not replaced . Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the project. Complete a thorough cleanup after installation. Work with the homeowner to assist with selecting an appropriate LVP color when needed. Ensure all flooring is installed accurately and professionally with attention to detail. Requirements Previous experience installing LVP or similar residential flooring. Knowledge of proper LVP installation and subfloor preparation. Ability to safely move furniture and handle flooring materials. Experience removing and reinstalling baseboards and trim. Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented. Ability to complete the project efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Must be comfortable working in an occupied residential home and providing full-service assistance to the homeowner.
