Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Glass Glazier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in a variety of settings, including commercial and residential buildings. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of safety, precision, and craftsmanship as you work with a wide range of glass materials and related construction components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that enhance the aesthetic and functional qualities of our clients' spaces. Responsibilities Measure and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to accurately cut and install glass components. Handle glass materials safely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and hand tools to prevent damage or injury. Install windows, doors, fixtures, and other glass elements following precise measurements and industry standards. Fabricate and customize glass pieces in the shop or on-site to meet project specifications. Use power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, sealing (caulking), and finishing glass installations. Perform quality control checks through dimensional measurements to ensure perfect fit and finish. Assist with remodeling projects by framing, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and painting as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Strong knowledge of glass materials handling, fabrication, and installation techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices for precise work. Construction site experience with a focus on window installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and remodeling projects. Familiarity with schematics, construction plans, metal stud framing, caulking, trim carpentry, cabinetry work, and drywall finishing is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during assembly or fabrication tasks. Prior handyman experience or construction painting background is a plus.
