In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and glazing systems across various commercial and residential projects. As a lead, you will oversee installation crews, ensure quality standards are met, and coordinate project timelines. Your expertise in construction, blueprint interpretation, and precise measurements will help deliver exceptional results that enhance our clients' spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while leading projects from start to finish. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine project scope and specifications Measure dimensions accurately on-site to ensure proper fit and finish of glass installations Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fabrication, and transportation to prevent damage or injury Install windows, doors, glass panels, and fixtures with precision using hand tools and power tools Perform heavy lifting of glass materials and other construction components while adhering to safety protocols Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency of installed systems Lead installation crews by coordinating tasks, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards during projects Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment related to glazing work Strong knowledge of window installation, door installation, glass materials handling, and fixture mounting Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for quality control purposes Construction site experience with a focus on remodeling or renovation projects preferred Familiarity with metal stud framing, drywall installation, and general carpentry skills beneficial Demonstrated ability to lift heavy materials safely and work at heights when necessary Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in measurement accuracy and quality assurance Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred for site travel Join us as a key contributor in delivering high-quality glazing solutions!
