The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and aluminum in various structures, including commercial buildings and residentual as wells. Cutting glass, install Shower units, install bathroom mirrors, install retrofit windows and window repair . This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties Install glass in windows, doors, and other structures using appropriate tools and techniques. Assemble frames and secure glass panels using caulking and adhesives. Fabricate custom glass pieces as needed for specific projects. Collaborate with carpenters on cabinet installation and frame carpentry tasks. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites. Perform inspections of installed glass to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Experience Previous experience as a Glazier or in a related field is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in glazing work. Familiarity with caulking techniques and materials used in glass installation. Experience with metal stud framing is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to glazing projects. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
