Overview:

We are seeking a skilled commercial Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in glass installation, fabrication, and a variety of construction-related tasks. The ideal candidate would also work well in a team and have the ability to train others.

Responsibilities:

• Proivde clean driving record and operate/maintain a company vehicle to travel to jobsites and homes and to deliver or pickup material
• Install glass, windows, doors, storefronts, curtain walls, display cases, glass railings, showers, sliding glass doors, etc
• Cut glass to size and shape using cutting tools
• Fabricate and install metal (storefront/curtainwall) frameworks for glass panes
• Measure and prepare surfaces for glass installation
• Repair or replace damaged glass panels
• Utilize power tools for cutting, shaping, and smoothing glass
• Be able to work with hands majority of day, be able to lift up to 75lbs continuously throughout the day and occassionally overhead, and work from heights of up to 300ft.
• Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
• Accurately use a tape measurer and have basic math skills

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Glazier
• Proficiency in glazing and glazing material installation
• Familiarity with construction schematics and drawings
• Ability to work in a team with precision and attention to detail
• Ability to train others in glazing trade
• OSHA30 preferred
