Fonda Window Coverings is a local, family-owned window covering company based in Elk Grove. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on installer to join our growing team. This position primarily involves installing custom plantation shutters, roller shades, cellular shades, blinds and other window coverings in customers' homes throughout the Sacramento area and surrounding communities. Previous window covering installation experience is preferred, but not required. We are also interested in candidates with experience in finish carpentry, cabinet installation, handyman work, construction or similar trades. We can train the right person on our products and installation methods. Responsibilities Install custom shutters, shades and blinds in customers' homes Load, unload and safely handle custom products Use drills, levels, ladders and standard hand/power tools Measure, level and properly mount products on a variety of window and wall surfaces Make minor adjustments and troubleshoot installation issues Protect customers' homes and leave the work area clean Communicate professionally with customers and our office Travel to scheduled installation appointments throughout our service area What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools Detail-oriented and able to problem-solve in the field Comfortable working on ladders and lifting larger shutters and window covering products Professional and respectful when working inside customers' homes Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to work approximately 30-40 hours per week Window covering installation experience is a plus Finish carpentry, cabinet installation, handyman or similar trade experience is a plus Pay & Schedule $25-$30 per hour depending on experience Approximately 30-40 hours per week Primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours Tools provided Paid time off On-the-job training We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing clean, quality work and wants to become a reliable part of our installation team as the company continues to grow.
