In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and related fixtures across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, quality, and aesthetic appeal of our clients' spaces. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately install glass, windows, doors, and fixtures according to specifications Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fitting, and securing glass panels using appropriate hand tools and power tools Install windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, and other glass fixtures on construction sites or in renovation projects Fabricate custom glass components as needed based on project requirements and blueprints Perform heavy lifting of glass materials and other construction components while adhering to safety protocols Apply caulking, sealing, and finishing techniques to ensure weather-tightness and aesthetic quality of installations Conduct quality control measurements to verify proper fitment, alignment, and finish of installed materials Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting construction plans and blueprints Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and fabrication equipment Experience with window installation, door hanging, drywall finishing, metal stud framing, and fixture installation Ability to accurately measure dimensions for quality control purposes using measuring tapes or laser tools Skilled in handling glass materials safely during transportation and installation processes Construction site experience with a focus on safety standards and efficient workflow management Handyman experience with general repair tasks including caulking, drywall patching, heavy lifting, and assembly tasks Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings for precise fabrication and installation of glass components Join our team if you're eager to bring your construction expertise into a fast-paced environment where your skills make a visible impact!
