Overview Join our dynamic team as a Window Installer and play a vital role in transforming spaces with expertly installed windows, glass materials, and related fixtures. As a Window Installer, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, fabricating, and installing windows, doors, and glass components while adhering to safety standards and technical specifications. Your expertise will help create beautiful, functional environments that meet clients' needs and exceed expectations. Responsibilities Measure openings precisely using dimensional measurement tools to ensure perfect fitment of windows and doors Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to guide installation processes accurately Handle glass materials carefully during transportation, fabrication, and installation to prevent damage Install windows, doors, fixtures, and glass components following manufacturer instructions and construction plans Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, assemble, and secure window frames, metal studs, and related fixtures Perform quality control checks through measurement verification and visual inspections to ensure proper fit and finish Apply caulking, sealants, and weatherproofing techniques to enhance durability and energy efficiency of installations Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in window and door installation Experience handling glass materials safely during installation and transportation Skilled in metal stud framing, fixture installation, door hanging, and heavy lifting techniques Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for quality control purposes Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and efficient workflow management Handyman experience with general construction tasks such as caulking, assembly, and drywall finishing Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship in construction!
