In this role, you will be responsible for professionally applying window tinting films to vehicles, enhancing their appearance, privacy, and UV protection. Your expertise will ensure precise installation, adherence to safety standards, and excellent customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare vehicles by cleaning windows thoroughly and ensuring surfaces are free of dirt, grease, and debris before tint application. Measure and cut tinting films accurately using manual glass cutting tools to fit various vehicle windows precisely. Install window tint films onto vehicle glass with attention to detail, ensuring smooth, bubble-free finishes. Use power tools safely during the installation process, including trimming and sealing edges for a professional look. Handle glass materials carefully during removal and replacement of automotive glass components, including auto glass repair and replacement tasks. Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site or off-site installations, adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct vehicle inspections post-installation to ensure quality standards are met and perform minor auto body or automotive repair as needed. Maintain a clean work environment, organize tools and materials efficiently, and follow all safety procedures related to power tool use and glass handling. Provide excellent customer service by explaining the tinting process, addressing questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the finished product. Experience Prior dealership experience or work within an automotive service environment is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with auto glass installation, automotive glass repair, or auto body repair is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and familiarity with vehicle maintenance enhances your ability to perform installations effectively. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and glass materials handling is essential for precision work. Experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) calibration or fitting glass installation that involves electronic components is a plus. Strong customer service skills combined with attention to detail ensure positive interactions with clients. Knowledge of auto estimating processes and heavy lifting techniques supports efficient workflow and safety compliance.
