Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and masking areas to ensure precise tint application. Measure, cut, and fit window tinting films accurately using manual glass cutting techniques. Install window tint films on vehicle windows, ensuring smooth, bubble-free finishes with attention to detail. Operate power tools safely for trimming, shaping, and fitting glass and tint materials. Handle automotive glass materials responsibly, including auto glass replacement and repair tasks. Assist with auto body repairs or automotive glass repairs as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge. Maintain company vehicles and tools, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance at all times. Provide excellent customer service by explaining tinting options, procedures, and aftercare instructions. Follow safety protocols during all installations, especially when using power tools or handling heavy glass materials. Support vehicle maintenance tasks related to glass installation or detailing services to enhance overall vehicle appearance. Requirements Proven experience in dealership settings or auto glass installation is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools safely. Skilled in manual glass cutting, fitting automotive glass, and performing auto body repairs. Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) integration during installations is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform heavy lifting during glass handling processes. Knowledge of automotive repair processes including auto estimating, vehicle maintenance, and detailing. Experience operating company vehicles responsibly in accordance with safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic understanding of auto estimating software or systems is advantageous. Mechanical aptitude combined with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques in window tinting and automotive repair.
