In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and project deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a skilled team dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Measure window openings accurately using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure proper fitment. Prepare window frames and surrounding structures by utilizing hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques such as trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and frame carpentry. Install windows securely following manufacturer specifications, construction drawings, and safety protocols. Seal gaps with caulking to enhance energy efficiency and prevent leaks. Remove old windows carefully, handling heavy lifting tasks safely while minimizing damage to surrounding surfaces. Complete fabrication and manufacturing of custom window components when necessary to meet project specifications. Assist with remodeling projects involving fixture installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, and construction painting as needed. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on glass installation or window replacement. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment efficiently and safely. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and material procurement. Familiarity with carpentry techniques including trim carpentry, framing, drywall finishing, and remodeling work. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights while maintaining safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in assembly and fixture installation tasks. Handyman experience or background in construction painting, metal stud framing, or remodeling is a plus.
