Ideally we are looking for someone with management experience that could move into an installer manager position. About the Business Colorado Blinds & Design is a full-service window coverings and interior design company serving the Colorado Front Range and Summit Country. Our showroom is in Loveland, but our window covering specialists provide free in-home estimates all over Colorado. We have been in business for over 40 years. We sell home accessories, provide interior design services, and sell a full range of window covering solutions. We also have expanded the business into outdoor living products including awnings, pergolas, furniture, and more. The Position We are looking for an installer/repair tech with experience ideally with a background in installation, construction or carpentry. However we are open to work with fresh recruits to start in an hourly position working to learn install and repairs of blinds and window coverings. We will train you to become a master installer and learn all aspects of repair. You will also be helping to build pergolas and our outdoor offerings, so you will gain many skills in the job. This is a great benefit because there are hundreds of Hunter Douglas dealers across the country, so you will easily be able to find work as an installer even in other states. You will be working in our warehouse learning repairs and helping our current installers on install jobs. As you learn the trade, we will send you out on installs and you will work in our warehouse repairing blinds/shades, while helping to keep our installation operations running smoothly cleaning the warehouse, prepping product for install, and more. Experience and Requirements Experience in skilled trades is necessary. We are looking for someone with a good amount of experience with mechanics for repairs and attention to detail on installs. We sell high end product and expect a high level of professionalism from our installers. Experience in construction, carpentry, handyman work, home improvement, or anything installation/home improvement related is a plus. We need friendly, outgoing people who are self-starters with the ambition to not only get the job done, but impress the customers each time you enter their home. Attention to detail is very important because you will be dealing with custom orders for products and mistakes can be costly with custom fabrication. Since you will be representing us on a daily basis, we want someone who has a professional demeanor and courtesy. We pride ourselves in keeping our customers happy and satisfied. Compensation $20-30/hr plus monthly bonuses based on performance. Time Commitment We are looking for someone who can work a minimum of 3 days per week or more.
