In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and fabricating glass and related materials across a variety of construction and remodeling sites. Your expertise will help transform spaces with sleek glass fixtures, windows, doors, shower glass and custom installations. Duties Measure, cut, fabricate, and install glass panels, windows, doors, mirrors, and custom glass fixtures with accuracy and attention to detail Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation aligned with project specifications Use hand tools such as chisels, screwdrivers, pliers, and caulking guns alongside power tools including drills, saws, and grinders for efficient fabrication and installation Perform heavy lifting of glass panels and framing materials safely while adhering to safety protocols Install trim carpentry elements like moldings or framing around glass fixtures; hang doors or cabinets as needed Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and airtight seals on windows or glass enclosures Interpret schematics for fixture installation or metal stud framing; assist in remodeling projects requiring metal or wood framing skills Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on glass installation or related trades such as carpentry or remodeling Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and fabrication techniques for custom glass projects Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for precise installation work Experience with construction estimating is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs Knowledge of construction painting, metal stud framing, fixture installation, cabinet hanging, door hanging, handyman tasks, and remodeling practices is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle Prior experience working on commercial or residential projects involving glazing systems or architectural glass is preferred Join us in delivering exceptional craftsmanship that transforms spaces!
