As the world's leading stairlift manufacturer, we're looking for dependable, mechanically inclined Installers who take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working independently, and are passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience. Whether you have experience in construction, carpentry, automotive, HVAC, appliance installation, mechanical assembly, or another skilled trade, we'll provide the specialized training needed to become a successful Stairlift Installer. What You'll Do Installation & Technical
- Safely and efficiently install, assemble, adjust, and test Acorn stairlift systems in customers' homes according to company standards.
- Identify and communicate site conditions or installation challenges to the Operations Team and ensure systems are fully operational before leaving. Customer Service & Documentation
- Demonstrate stairlift operation to customers, answer questions, and provide a professional experience while representing Acorn Stairlifts with integrity and respect.
- Accurately complete installation documentation using company-provided mobile devices. Safety & Organization
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Maintain an organized company vehicle and properly manage inventory, tools, and installation materials.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble and install equipment.
- Experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, automotive, HVAC, appliance installation, maintenance, or related trades preferred.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications for scheduling and documentation.
- Self-motivated and able to manage a daily schedule independently; valid driver's license with a good driving record required.
