Full-time Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of glass in various commercial structures. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and proficiency in working with different types of glass materials.Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install glass in windows, doors, and other structures
- Remove broken or damaged glass and replace it with new glass
- Fabricate and build frames for glass installation
- Install and secure glass panels using various techniques such as caulking, glazing compounds, or screws
- Trim carpentry work to ensure proper fit and finish
- Perform metal stud framing when necessary
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and building codes
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques and materials
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and installing glass
