Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Garage Storage Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom garage storage solutions, including cabinets, shelving, and organizational systems, to help clients optimize their space. Your expertise in construction, carpentry, and technical installation will ensure each project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. There is alot of driving involved with this position. After training, if you are offered full time, transportation will be provided for you to drive to and from jobs.
Responsibilities :
Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit of storage components. Install cabinets, shelving units, hooks, and other organizational fixtures following blueprint specifications. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fastening, and assembling storage systems. Perform construction site inspections to verify quality standards and adherence to safety protocols during installations. Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on storage solutions. Follow management procedures to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout each project. Experience Proven experience in construction or remodeling projects involving building material installation and carpentry preferred Hands-on experience with various construction tools including power tools, hand tools, ladders, and measuring devices required Strong understanding of safety standards on construction sites and ability to perform inspections accordingly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about project scope and progress in the English language. Prior experience in garage organization or storage system installation is a plus but not required; training/shadowing will be provided for the right candidate. We prefer you to have experience with tools and general handyman type experience, but will train the right person. We would have you shadow our installer and the goal would be to get you working independently after a short period of time, which is when we would offer you full time employment with potential for growth and pay increases between 20-25hr in the first year.
