Yes Harry's Window Treatments LLC is hiring a Window Treatment Installation Technician to assist with residential and commercial window-treatment installations throughout South Florida. Previous window-treatment installation experience is not required. Paid, hands-on training is available for candidates who are dependable, comfortable working with tools, and interested in learning the trade. Applicants with previous window-treatment, construction, maintenance, or installation experience may qualify for a higher starting rate. Work hours vary depending on scheduled projects. Some installation days may be shorter, while larger projects may require longer workdays. This position does not guarantee 40 hours of work each week. Responsibilities Install and assist with the installation of blinds, roller shades, motorized shades, shutters, drapery tracks, and other window-treatment products. Accurately measure and verify window and product dimensions. Drill, mount, anchor, level, assemble, and secure installation hardware and products. Safely use drills, impact drivers, hand tools, power tools, tape measures, levels, and ladders. Learn installation techniques for drywall, concrete, wood, metal, and other mounting surfaces. Assist with adjustments, repairs, troubleshooting, and programming of window-treatment products. Load, unload, transport, and organize products, tools, ladders, and installation materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area and protect customers' property during installations. Follow work orders, measurements, product specifications, and installation instructions. Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, designers, project managers, and other customers. Travel to scheduled installation locations throughout South Florida. Qualifications Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Candidates should be comfortable using basic hand and power tools, reading a tape measure, performing physical installation work, using ladders, and working at elevated heights. Previous window-treatment experience is not required. Experience in construction, maintenance, carpentry, cabinetry, electrical or low-voltage work, AV installation, handyman services, or another hands-on trade is helpful but not required. Candidates must be dependable, punctual, professional when working inside customers' homes and businesses, and willing to learn. Pay and Training Pay ranges from $18 to $30 per hour depending on experience and demonstrated installation skills . Entry-level candidates may receive paid hands-on training. Applicants with professional window-treatment or related installation experience may qualify for a higher starting rate. Compensation may increase as technicians develop the skills necessary to complete installations with less supervision and take on additional responsibilities.
