Job Description

Job Overview I need someone that either has window experience or is capable of learning. If you have experience and can install a window right, you'll get 25/hr. If not I'll start you out at $20/hr. I'll train you and up your pay as you learn and can work without oversight. I can eventually pay you per window, if you'd like. We do new construction and R&R's. We're going to be on different jobsites around Sarasota and Charlotte counties. Join as a Window Installer or Helper, where you'll play a vital role in transforming spaces through expert window and glass installation. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, you'll contribute to creating beautiful, functional environments while gaining valuable skills in construction and remodeling. Duties Assist with the installation of windows, glass materials, doors, and fixtures according to construction plans and technical drawings Measure dimensional specifications accurately to ensure proper fit and function of installed components Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fitting, and securing glass panels during installation Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, fabrication, and finishing tasks Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements and specifications Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks necessary for glass handling and construction site work Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing techniques to complete installations with precision Support remodeling projects by assisting with demolition, fixture installation, and site cleanup Maintain safety standards on-site by following proper procedures for glass materials handling and tool use Qualifications Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or remodeling is highly preferred Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, measurement techniques, and quality control processes Ability to handle glass materials safely and perform glass installation tasks effectively Experience with door installation, fixture mounting, caulking, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing is a plus Physical ability to lift heavy materials regularly, perform demanding tasks on construction sites and deal with the heat Strong attention to detail for measurements and quality assurance during installation processes Handyman experience or related skills in fabrication and remodeling are advantageous Join me in delivering exceptional craftsmanship on exciting projects!
