Full-Time About the Role Clearvue Glass & Mirror is seeking an experienced Lead Foreman or Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial glazing projects throughout the Metro Atlanta area. This position is responsible for leading field crews, coordinating jobsite activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule. The ideal candidate has strong commercial glazing experience, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage the installation of storefronts, curtain wall systems, entrances, doors, windows, and related glazing products. Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, and leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise commercial glazing field crews on active construction projects. Coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and field conditions prior to installation. Perform jobsite layout and ensure proper installation of glazing systems. Monitor productivity, workmanship, and adherence to quality standards. Train, mentor, and develop Glaziers and Lead Glaziers. Coordinate with Project Managers regarding scheduling, manpower, materials, and project progress. Manage field-related issues and implement solutions to minimize delays. Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation. Inspect completed work and address punch-list and closeout items. Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and jobsite logistics. Ensure all work complies with project specifications, building codes, and company standards. Enforce OSHA requirements, safety procedures, and company policies. Attend project meetings and maintain positive relationships with customers, general contractors, and trade partners.
Experience & Qualifications Lead Foreman:
Minimum 5 years of commercial glazing experience required .
Superintendent:
Minimum 8 years of commercial glazing experience required , including demonstrated experience leading crews and managing field operations. Previous Leadman, Foreman, Superintendent, or crew leadership experience strongly preferred. Experience with storefront systems, curtain walls, entrances, doors, windows, and related glazing products. Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate jobsite activities, and maintain project schedules. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred. English proficiency required; Spanish bilingual skills are a plus. Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems, installation methods, and field operations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of construction scheduling, workflow management, and jobsite coordination. Ability to supervise crews while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Strong communication skills with field personnel, project management teams, customers, and trade partners. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, lifts, scaffolding, and construction equipment. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and perform physical work throughout the day. Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts. Ability to safely lift and move glass, framing systems, and construction materials. Ability to work in active construction environments and varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds independently and heavier materials with assistance or equipment. Why Join Us?
