General knowledge of residential exterior remodeling is necessary to be considered for this position. The ideal candidate has been an installer of windows and doors with familiarity in siding and roofing. The Measure Technician role provides each customer with an exceptional experience while gathering critical information to deliver the most professional, efficient and highest quality installation in the industry. Measure Technicians closely examine the condition of existing windows, re-measure for accuracy, and then assess the situation to plan for production and installation. Duties & Responsibilities Measuring windows/doors and exteriors , and servicing, with limited installing of windows and doors. Taking pictures/reviewing contract with client (as needed). Confirming (and changing as needed) job specifics with client and installers ensuring that all expectations are met or exceeded. Diagnosis of problems as needed before, during, and after installation, formulation and implementation of solutions. Producing, reviewing service order details and installs for accuracy Maintain a good working relationship with Window Comfort team: office, sales, manager, production, installers. Be the liaison between clients and our team and always portray Window Comfort in a positive light (even if you do not agree with their decisions). Diagnosis of problems as needed before, during, and after installation, formulation and implementation of solutions. Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Assist with the setup and take down of multiple Home Shows We strive for clients to have a full-circle experience with you from project start to finish, and it would be your responsibility to ensure a project is set up/delegated to be successfully completed with rave reviews from clients. Requirements Proven experience as a window Measure and Technician or similar role in the field. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's license may be required based on job responsibilities.
