Job Description

Renuity is seeking experienced 1099 Window Installers to complete high-quality residential window replacement projects. As an independent contractor, you'll remove and install windows, ensure proper fit, flashing, insulation, and sealing, and deliver a clean, safe jobsite. You'll interpret work orders, verify measurements, and follow manufacturer and safety standards. This role suits detail-oriented pros who take pride in craftsmanship, communicate well with homeowners, and meet performance expectations within a customer-focused, national remodeling brand. Responsibilities Install residential replacement windows to manufacturer and company standards Remove existing windows and prepare openings, including framing and repairs as needed Measure, level, flash, insulate, and seal windows for proper operation and weatherproofing Maintain a clean, safe jobsite and comply with all OSHA and company safety policies Read and interpret work orders, plans, and specifications to confirm scope and materials Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members about project status and issues Identify and resolve on-site installation problems or escalate when necessary Protect finished surfaces and property throughout installation and cleanup Load, transport, and account for tools, materials, and jobsite documentation Meet performance, quality, and schedule expectations as an independent 1099 contractor Required Skills Residential window installation Carpentry and finishing Use of power and hand tools Reading and interpreting work orders Measurement and layout Flashing and waterproofing Caulking and sealing Jobsite safety compliance Customer service and communication Problem solving and troubleshooting
