GLASS TECHNICIAN / CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Full Benefits | Starting at $22 per hourABOUT THE ROLE BV
Glass is hiring a full-time Glass Technician / Construction Supervisor to install and repair glass, lead crews, provide light construction work as projects require and solve problems on the jobsite. We handle residential and commercial glass along with auto, truck and equipment glass repair and replacement. This is a hands-on role for someone who can run a job as well as work it. Along with glass experience, we are looking for a contracting and construction background - framing, measuring, trim, etc. - that aligns with typical projects. You'll work directly with customers, troubleshoot on the spot and keep jobs moving and on budget.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Glass Installation & Repair Install and replace residential and commercial glass, including windows, doors, storefronts, mirrors and shower enclosures Construction & Contracting Take accurate field measurements and confirm materials before install Perform related construction work, including framing, trim and finish carpentry Read plans and prep openings so glass goes in clean the first time Supervision & Problem Solving Supervise and direct crews on daily jobs in the shop and on job sites Troubleshoot issues in the field and find practical solutions Work directly with clients on site, answer questions and make sure the job is done right Keep jobs on schedule, on spec and safeWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Glass installation and repair experience - residential, commercial and/or auto Contracting or construction experience, including framing, measuring, trim, etc. Supervisory experience or the ability to lead a crew Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills A professional, customer-facing approach Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to lift heavy materials and work from ladders and liftsWHAT WE OFFER
