Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing and replacing windows across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Duties Measure window openings with high accuracy using dimensional measurement tools to ensure proper fitment. Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute window and door installations correctly. Handle glass materials safely during transportation, fabrication, and installation processes to prevent damage or injury. Install windows, doors, trim carpentry, fixtures, cabinets, and other related components following manufacturer guidelines and construction plans. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fitting, sealing (caulking), and securing window units. Perform heavy lifting of glass materials and window units while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct quality control checks on measurements and finished installations to ensure compliance with project specifications. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, break, fabrication techniques, and fixture installation. Experience in glass materials handling and glass installation techniques for windows and related fixtures. Skilled in carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, door installation, cabinet mounting, and remodeling projects. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for quality control purposes. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and experience working on active construction sites. Excellent handyman skills with a focus on caulking, metal framing, remodeling work, and fixture setup.
