In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various glass products across residential, commercial, and remodeling projects. Your expertise will help create beautiful, functional spaces by handling glass materials with care and executing installations with accuracy. We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in hands-on environments and are eager to contribute to high-quality construction and renovation projects. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in construction and glass installation while working on diverse projects that make a real impact. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise glass installation. Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fabricating, and fitting glass panels for windows, doors, fixtures, and custom projects. Install glass components such as windows, doors, mirrors, shower enclosures, and decorative panels using hand tools and power tools. Use caulking techniques to seal joints and ensure weatherproofing and durability of installations. Assist with remodeling projects by installing fixtures, cabinetry, or other related components requiring precise glass or carpentry Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings or schematics. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, measuring tapes, and caulking guns; experience with power tools is a plus. Experience in window installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and general remodeling tasks. Ability to handle glass materials safely during fabrication and installation while maintaining quality standards through accurate measurements. Construction site experience with heavy lifting techniques necessary for handling large or heavy glass panels. Familiarity with construction plans related to framing, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, painting or remodeling projects. Knowledge of construction safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
