Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Film Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the correct installation procedures for window films. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of window films. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, trim, and fit window films accurately according to specifications. Handle glass materials carefully during installation to prevent damage and ensure safety on site. Install window films on various glass surfaces including residential windows, commercial storefronts, and vehicle windows with precision. Perform quality control checks through dimensional measurements and visual inspections to guarantee flawless finishes. Apply caulking, trim carpentry, or other finishing techniques to secure edges and improve overall appearance of the installation. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, or related construction roles. Skilled in using hand tools such as knives, squeegees, measuring tapes, and cutting devices; familiarity with power tools is a plus. Knowledge of glass materials handling, fabrication processes, and glass installation techniques. Strong understanding of construction plans, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Experience with door installation, fixture installation, cabinet assembly, metal stud framing, or remodeling projects is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling or site setup. Excellent dimensional measurement skills for quality control purposes; attention to detail is essential. Prior construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and efficient workflow practices.
