Window Installer / Service Technician Monday-Friday $25-$27/hr (based on experience) Grand Rapids area Job Description The Window Installer / Service Technician performs on-site diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments to windows, doors, and related products. This role focuses on troubleshooting issues, completing high-quality installations and service work, and ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional, customer-facing interactions. You will use carpentry skills, hand and power tools, and mobile technology to document work, complete service orders, and support residential and new construction projects. Responsibilities Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments to windows, doors, and related products in residential and new construction settings. Install and set various types of windows and doors, ensuring proper fit, function, and finish carpentry quality. Use a tape measure to take accurate measurements and calculate dimensions in feet and inches for installation and repair work. Operate hand and power tools, such as nail guns, staple guns, hammers, utility knives, circular saws, levels, and squares, in a safe and efficient manner. Troubleshoot product and installation issues, identify root causes, and implement effective repair solutions. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
