Join our local Budget Blinds team and help customers bring their homes to life with professionally installed blinds, shades and shutters. We're looking for a dependable, personable installer who combines quality workmanship with great customer service. Installation, carpentry, construction or handyman experience is welcome, along with a willingness to learn our products and installation methods. What We Offer Starting pay of $30 per hour, with higher pay considered based on relevant experience. Full-time daytime work, generally between 8 AM and 5 PM. Employee discounts, opportunities for growth and performance-based raises. What You'll Do Install blinds, shades, shutters and other window treatments with accuracy and care. Assess job sites, verify measurements and resolve installation challenges. Protect customers' homes and leave each work area clean. Check product operation and walk customers through how to use and care for their new window treatments. Communicate with customers and teammates about arrival times, job progress and any issues. Maintain accurate job records and keep tools and materials organized. What You Bring Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and pride in your work. Dependability, practical problem-solving skills and a professional, friendly manner. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A willingness to learn; relevant installation or carpentry experience is a plus. A valid driver's license and good driving history. Your own truck, SUV or van suitable for transporting window treatments and installation materials. A smartphone and comfort using email, Outlook and text messaging. The ability to use ladders and lift up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Authorization to work in the United States and willingness to complete a background check.
