Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in a variety of building projects, ensuring safety, precision, and quality at every step. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, from commercial buildings to residential remodels. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors and indoors on diverse sites, utilizing your skills in building material installation and construction management. Responsibilities Working as a team installing a wide range of glass and related products. Installing shower door, interior partitions, glass railing, Storefronts Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install glass panels with precision. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, electricians, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of glass components within larger construction projects. Perform quality inspections during installation to verify alignment, sealing, and finish standards while adhering to safety guidelines. Manage the safe operation of heavy equipment when handling large or heavy glass units. Complete documentation such as installation reports, safety checklists, and project progress logs. Experience Proven experience in window installation, building material installation, or related construction roles. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking, stucco application, and fabrication techniques. Knowledge of safety protocols specific to outdoor work environments and construction sites. Background in remodeling projects or working on construction sites is highly desirable. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for large-scale glass or structural installations.
