Morris Plate Glass is seeking a dependable Glazier Helper / Glass Installer to join our team in Red Bank, NJ. This is a hands-on position assisting an experienced glazier with residential and commercial glass installation and service work. Duties include assisting with frameless shower enclosures, mirrors, insulated glass/window repairs, storefront and entrance work, loading and unloading glass and materials, shop work, jobsite preparation and cleanup, and the safe handling of glass and glazing materials. Prior glass experience is preferred but not required. We will consider candidates with related hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, windows and doors, fabrication, building maintenance, or similar trades who are willing to learn the glazing trade. We are looking for someone who: Is dependable, punctual and ready to work each day Is mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools Can safely lift and handle glass and construction materials Can follow instructions and work effectively as part of a two-person crew Takes pride in workmanship and maintaining a clean, safe jobsite Is comfortable working in both residential homes and commercial jobsite environments Has reliable transportation to report to our Red Bank shop each morning This is an opportunity to learn and develop skills in the glass and glazing trade while working alongside experienced glaziers on a variety of projects throughout Monmouth County and the surrounding area.
