Duties Lead and supervise window installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to construction plans and schematics. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to accurately measure and cut materials for installation. Oversee the handling of glass materials, ensuring safe transportation, storage, and installation while preventing damage. Utilize hand tools and power tools for precise cutting, fitting, caulking, drywall finishing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation. Coordinate heavy lifting operations safely when installing large windows or glass panels; ensure proper use of lifting equipment. Perform quality control checks on measurements and installations to meet project specifications and safety standards. Manage fabrication or manufacturing processes related to custom window frames or glass components when necessary. Ensure all construction site activities comply with safety protocols; conduct regular inspections for hazards or code violations. Collaborate with carpenters, drywall installers, painters, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow during remodeling or renovation projects. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, window installation, glass handling, and general construction site work. (3+ years preferred) Strong knowledge of construction plans, schematics, technical drawings, and measurement techniques for quality control. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, caulking guns, levels; experience with power tools is essential. Skilled in drywall finishing, trim carpentry, door hanging, metal stud framing, fixture installation (including cabinets), and remodeling tasks.
