Tiffany & Co. The Flatiron Building. Lever House. Fotografiska. Barclays Center. These aren't just landmarks—they're projects our team has put their hands on. When you join Certified Metal & Glass, you don't just build things. You shape the skyline of the greatest city in the world. We started as a humble neighborhood shop in Queens. Three generations later, we're the company that architects, builders, and Fortune 500 brands call when the work has to be flawless, the deadline is tight, and "good enough" isn't in the vocabulary. Our team combines old-world craftsmanship with modern precision. We need someone who takes the same pride in their craft. Someone who sees a glass panel not as a material, but as a piece of a building's story. Your Mission You'll fabricate and install metal and glass systems on some of New York City's most recognizable buildings. From precision-cutting glass to engineering aluminum framing systems, your craftsmanship will be on display for millions of people to see—every single day. Here's what you will do: Measure, cut, and install glass panels, windows, doors, and specialty glass components with precision tools—ensuring every piece fits perfectly. Fabricate and install aluminum and metal framing systems that anchor glass securely into iconic structures. Apply weather seals, caulking, and sealants to guarantee water and air tightness—because your work has to withstand everything New York throws at it. Interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications to plan your approach before a single cut is made. Operate specialized equipment—glass cutters, drills, grinders, CNC machinery, and lift equipment—safely and with confidence. Collaborate directly with project managers, architects, and construction professionals to keep projects on time and on target. Remove and replace old or damaged glass, preparing surfaces so the new installation looks and performs like it belongs. Perform repairs on existing glass and metal structures, diagnosing issues and executing solutions with care. Maintain detailed records of materials, work completed, and hours—because accountability is one of our core values. What Success Looks Like You deliver exceptional craftsmanship—every installation meets the highest standards of quality and aesthetics. You champion safety, not because you're told to, but because you understand what's at stake. You stay curious, keeping up with industry trends, new techniques, and materials so you're always getting better. And when your work is done, people notice—not because something went wrong, but because it's beautiful. Why Certified Metal & Glass? This isn't an assembly line. Every project is different, every building has a story, and your skills will be tested and grown in ways a typical shop can't offer. Here, you'll work alongside the industry's most experienced architectural graduates and master craftsmen. You'll gain new skills on projects that range from custom storefronts for luxury brands like Kith and Rolex to curtain wall systems on Park Avenue high-rises. We approach every project with a "Can Do" attitude—and we make that attitude contagious. If you're someone who takes pride in precision, values safety, and wants to leave your mark on New York City, we want to hear from you.
