Our teams provide automotive glass repair and replacement, custom residential glass and mirror solutions, and commercial glazing services. Position Summary We are hiring a Residential Glass Technician to install, service and repair custom glass products in customers' homes and at residential job sites. This hands-on role combines skilled craftsmanship, problem-solving and customer service. The right person protects finished surfaces, verifies details before installation and leaves every project clean and secure. Experienced technicians and mechanically capable candidates with the judgment and work ethic to learn the trade are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Review job details and verify measurements, glass, hardware, tools and installation requirements before departure. Load, transport and protect glass, mirrors, hardware, tools and materials so they arrive complete and undamaged. Remove broken or failed glass, prepare openings safely and control debris to protect people and property. Install and service shower enclosures, mirrors, insulated and replacement window glass, tabletops, shelving, screens, interior glass and other residential products as assigned. Verify field dimensions and confirm openings are level, plumb and square. Stop and report conditions or specifications that must be corrected before installation. Drill, anchor, set and adjust glass and hardware using the correct setting blocks, shims, fasteners and sealants. Protect floors, walls, fixtures, furnishings and other finished surfaces while working in customers' homes. Keep the work area orderly and leave the home or job site clean when the project is complete. Explain the work, field changes, care instructions and next steps clearly and professionally. Complete work orders, photos and material records accurately and report problems promptly. Maintain tools, company vehicles and assigned inventory in organized condition. Follow company procedures for lifting, personal protective equipment and safe glass handling. What We're Looking For Residential glazing, window, shower-enclosure, finish-carpentry or related skilled-trade experience is preferred. Training may be available for a mechanically capable candidate. Ability to read a tape measure, perform basic math and verify critical dimensions before fabrication or installation. Comfort using hand and power tools with close attention to finish quality and surrounding surfaces. Strong mechanical judgment and the ability to recognize when a condition requires assistance or further review. Professional customer-service skills and the ability to interact with and hold respect for customers' homes and property. The ability to explain and/or communicate effectively with a customer and in challenging situations effectively de-escalate. Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the office and installation team. Dependability, punctuality and consistent attention to detail. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for field assignments. Ability to lift and position glass and equipment, use ladders and work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications Experience installing custom shower enclosures, mirrors, insulated glass units, replacement window glass or screens is a huge plus. Knowledge of tempered and laminated safety glass, residential hardware, sealants and field-measurement practices. Experience performing residential glass service calls and troubleshooting existing installations. What Success Looks Like Installations are accurate, clean, secure and completed with respect for the customer's home. Job documentation is complete, customers understand the finished work and avoidable callbacks are kept to a minimum.
