Stained Glass Craftsman / Glass Studio Assistant — Part-Time Columbus Glasshouse | Columbus, OH $17-$20/hour | 20-30 hours/week | Part-Time Columbus Glasshouse is a small, growing stained glass studio specializing in custom stained glass, stained glass restoration, leaded glass, and stained glass overlay for residential, commercial, and interior design projects. I'm looking for a reliable, hands-on craftsman to join the studio part-time. What You'll Be Doing The immediate priority for this position is lead work on windows and assisting with production in the studio. You do not need to already know how to do this, as I am willing to train the right person.

Additional responsibilities will include:

Leading and soldering windows Safely moving and handling glass windows and panels Assisting with stained glass production and fabrication Cleaning and maintaining an organized, functional workspace Assisting with general shop tasks and project preparation Room to Grow This position has the potential to grow considerably for the right person. As you become comfortable with the initial responsibilities, there will be opportunities to learn: Stained glass restoration New stained glass fabrication Stained glass overlay (SGO) Glass installation Woodworking and framing Project preparation and production planning Eventually taking greater ownership of projects from start to finish Sales and design skills The Person I'm Looking For Experience with stained glass is a plus, but it is not required. Schedule & Compensation Part-time:

approximately 20-30 hours per week $17-$20/hour, depending on experience Studio-based position in Columbus, Ohio Some weekend hours may be available Potential for this to become a long-term position with increased responsibilities, opportunities and pay to learn additional skills

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
