Service Tech Commercial Glass Accent Glass Services, LLC Norman, OK Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Opportunities for advancement Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Carpentry Personal protective equipment (PPE) use Aluminum Driver's License Power tools Door lock and handle installation Hand tools Glazing glass replacement Window installation Caulking Full Job Description Position Summary Accent Glass is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Service Tech "Commercial Glass" that will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of commercial glass and glazing systems, including aluminum storefronts, entrances, curtainwall systems, and interior heavy glass. This role requires the ability to accurately read blueprints, perform precise measurements, and complete installations that meet company quality standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship while working independently or as part of a team. Consistent attendance, accountability, and a strong commitment to safety and quality are essential for success in this position. Key Responsibilities Install, replace, and repair commercial and residential glass systems, including storefronts, entrances, curtainwall, interior heavy glass, windows and doors. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate installations. Measure, fabricate, and fit glass and framing systems according to project requirements. Install aluminum framing, door hardware, and related glazing components. Apply caulking, sealants, and weatherproofing materials to ensure watertight and airtight installations. Assemble frames and install glass fixtures with precision and attention to detail. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer expectations, and safety regulations. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition. Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and job site procedures. Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, customers, and other trades to ensure project success. Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion. Team Support & Development Work collaboratively with fellow glaziers, carpenters, project managers, and other construction professionals. Support and mentor apprentices or less experienced team members when appropriate. Foster a positive, respectful, and solution-oriented work environment. Participate in ongoing training to improve technical skills, product knowledge, and safety practices. Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Qualifications Required Previous commercial glazing experience. Experience installing aluminum storefront systems, entrances, curtainwall, and/or heavy glass systems. Proficiency with glazing hand and power tools. Experience with caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing techniques. Knowledge of commercial door hardware and installation practices. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to lift, carry, and install heavy glass materials safely. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Experience with general construction or carpentry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Forklift, boom lift, or scissor lift certification. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
