Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, fabricating, and installing windows across various residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your hands-on skills to transform spaces with precision and efficiency. Duties Measure window openings precisely using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure proper fitment. Fabricate window components as needed, utilizing fabrication and manufacturing techniques to meet project specifications. Install windows securely using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills, ensuring proper alignment and sealing. Perform glass installation with attention to detail, including caulking and weatherproofing to prevent leaks. Complete trim carpentry tasks such as frame carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation to enhance aesthetic appeal. Conduct heavy lifting safely when handling large or bulky window units during installation or removal. Follow construction schematics and blueprints accurately, adhering to safety protocols on the construction site. Assist with remodeling projects by providing handyman services such as construction painting or metal stud framing as needed. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating to assess project scope and material needs effectively. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and metal stud framing equipment for precise work execution. Extensive experience with glass installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture setup. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and fabrication processes within construction environments. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety standards. Experience in construction site operations including remodeling, cabinetry installation, and drywall finishing. Familiarity with construction painting techniques and general handyman tasks for versatile project support. Knowledge of metal stud framing, door hanging, cabinet installation, and other framing or fixture tasks.
