Job Description

Renuity is seeking experienced 1099 Window Installers to complete high-quality residential window replacement projects. As an independent contractor, you'll handle tear-outs, install replacement windows, ensure proper fit, insulation, flashing, and sealing, and leave a clean, safe jobsite. You'll interact directly with homeowners, uphold Renuity's customer-first, professional standards, and follow safety and building requirements. This role is ideal for detail-oriented craftsmen seeking steady work with a fast-growing national home remodeling brand focused on performance, accountability, and exceptional results. Responsibilities Perform tear-out and installation of residential replacement windows to manufacturer specifications Measure openings, adjust framing as needed, and ensure proper level, plumb, and square installs Install flashing, insulation, sealants, and trim to ensure weather-tight, code-compliant results Maintain clean, safe jobsites and adhere to OSHA and company safety standards Review work orders, confirm materials, and coordinate with office/warehouse as needed Communicate professionally with homeowners, explain work performed, and address basic concerns Document work completed and report issues, damages, or change orders promptly Protect client property with drop cloths and cleanup after each job Transport, load, and unload windows, tools, and materials safely Collaborate with Renuity teams to uphold quality and customer satisfaction metrics Required Skills Residential window installation Carpentry and construction tools Measuring and layout Exterior/interior sealing and flashing Reading work orders and specs Jobsite safety and OSHA practices Customer service and homeowner communication Time management and scheduling Use of ladders and power tools Problem-solving and site troubleshooting
