About Shade Vault Shade Vault is a private, appointment-only automotive customization studio based in the Round Rock/Austin area. We specialize in high-end ceramic window tint, paint protection film (PPF), vinyl wraps, and detailing services . We are not a volume shop. We focus on precision installs, clean environments, and premium customer experience . Most of our clients drive newer or higher-end vehicles and expect top-tier results. Position Overview We're looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Window Tint Installer to join the team. This role is primarily focused on ceramic window tint installation , including: Full vehicle tint jobs (sedans, SUVs, trucks) Windshield and visor/brow installs Occasional specialty films (chameleon, etc.) You'll be working in a controlled, private studio environment with a steady flow of scheduled clients. Responsibilities Install ceramic window tint on a variety of vehicles with high attention to detail Perform clean, contamination-free installs (dust control, proper prep, edge finishing) Shrink and fit film accurately for all glass types, including windshields Work efficiently while maintaining quality standards (no rushed, sloppy installs) Communicate clearly with the team regarding job status and timing Maintain a clean and organized workspace Represent the Shade Vault brand professionally with every client interaction What We're Looking For Experience in automotive window tinting is required Strong shrinking, cutting, and installation skills Ability to work on frameless windows, large windshields, and modern vehicles Attention to detail — especially with edges, cleanliness, and finish quality Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Takes pride in their work (this is huge here) Willingness to learn and grow within the business Bonus Skills (Not Required) Experience with PPF or vinyl wrap Familiarity with plotters and pattern software Experience with high-end or exotic vehicles Compensation Pay based on experience and skill level Performance - based opportunities available Consistent workflow (appointment-based scheduling) Why Work With Us Clean, private studio environment (no chaotic shop) High-quality clientele and vehicles Focus on craftsmanship, not rushing volume Opportunity to grow into other areas (PPF, wraps, etc.) Direct communication with ownership How to Apply Please apply with: Your experience level Photos or videos of your work (if available) Any additional skills (PPF, wrap, etc.) Final Note We're looking for someone who takes this seriously — not just a job, but a craft.
