AAA Blind & Shutter Factory is hiring a full-time window treatment Installation Specialist to work alongside an experienced Installation Leader on a two-person installation truck. For 30 years, AAA has built and installed custom shutters, blinds, and shades for homeowners from Georgetown, South Carolina, to Wilmington, North Carolina. We manufacture our own plantation shutters and roller shades locally, helping us deliver fast lead times without giving up quality. We are a 20-person, owner-operated company where everyone is on a first-name basis. The role You will independently own assigned portions of each job while coordinating the sequence and final decisions with the Installation Leader. This is a skilled field-execution role , not a promise of crew leadership or an independent truck route. Success means high-quality installation work, strong customer care, accurate documentation, dependable truck readiness, and early communication when something is not right. What you'll do Install custom shutters, roller shades, blinds, motorized products, outdoor shades, and specialty products in customers' homes across the coastal SC and NC from Wilmington to Georgetown. Review the daily schedule and job details ; verify products, hardware, tools, and supplies; and help load, stock, fuel, and secure the truck. Stage products by room and opening , compare each product with the paperwork, and complete assigned mounting and finishing work accurately to 1/16 inch. Protect customers' homes , maintain a clean and safe work area, and leave each jobsite ready for the customer to enjoy. Test alignment, security, and operation ; assist with motors, remotes, and safety devices; and support the final customer walkthrough. Complete required photos, job notes, payment or completion -certificate status, and follow-up information in the company system the same day. Identify damage, shortages, fit issues, and unsafe conditions early . Stop and escalate instead of improvising an unapproved field remedy. What we're looking for Required Mechanical aptitude and safe, competent use of common hand and power tools. Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and learn order forms, drawings, and trade abbreviations. Ability to consistently lift 25 to 50 pounds , climb ladders, work in tight spaces or at heights, and safely assist with oversized products. Valid driver's license , an acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation to the warehouse. Strong attention to detail, punctuality, organization, customer-facing professionalism, and flexibility with route-driven start and finish times. Clear communication with customers and coworkers and the ability to understand written job instructions and safety information. Preferred Three or more years of hands-on work in carpentry, framing, construction, cabinetry, finish work, or another trade-related installation role. Experience with window treatments, motorized or exterior products, cabinetry, furniture, or similar finish products. Experience with scheduling, order-management, CRM, or field-service software on an iPad or similar mobile device; bilingual English and Spanish communication is a plus. Compensation and benefits Base pay:

$18-$20 per hour , based on experience. Biweekly installation incentive : get paid for every installed unit. Paid time off and paid holidays. Dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
