Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Glass Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various installation tasks, including heavy lifting and hardware installation. As a Glass Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and safe installation of glass products in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Additional products this role will install: windows, mirrors, exterior & interior shades, dog doors, etc.
Duties:
Install glass products, including windows, mirrors, and shower doors with precision and care. Use of tape measure, adding and subtracting fractional numbers, arithmetic, and excellent written and oral communication. Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of glass panels safely to prevent damage and ensure proper placement. Utilize hand tools effectively for finishing glass installations. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience:
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience in glass installation or related fields such as construction or carpentry. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with installation work. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Must be a licensed driver.
Pay:
$14.00 - $21.00 per hour
