Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Glazier/Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and glazing systems in a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help ensure precise measurements, proper handling of glass materials, and flawless installation of windows, doors, and other fixtures. Duties Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately determine glass sizes and installation requirements Handle and transport glass materials safely using appropriate tools and equipment Install windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, and other fixtures according to specifications Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and secure glass components with precision Perform quality control checks on measurements, fitment, and finish to ensure high standards of craftsmanship Assist with fabrication tasks such as trimming drywall or framing for glass installation projects Apply caulking, sealing, and trim carpentry techniques to ensure weatherproofing and aesthetic finishes Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and meet project deadlines Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on glazing or related trades such as carpentry or remodeling Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) safely and effectively Experience handling glass materials including cutting, measuring, fitting, and installing Knowledge of measurement techniques for quality control to ensure precise fitment Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites involving glass handling Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work at heights when necessary Join our team as a Glazier/Installer if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills to exciting projects.
