Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Glazier to oversee and execute high-quality glass installation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in installing various glass products, including windows, shower cubicles, and mirrors, while leading a team of glaziers to ensure safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship. This role requires proficiency in handling glass materials, interpreting technical drawings, and managing installation processes from start to finish. Duties Lead and coordinate glass installation projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion of work. Install windows, shower cubicles, mirrors, and other glass fixtures according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine precise measurements and installation procedures. Handle glass materials safely and efficiently, including cutting, fitting, and securing glass components. Use hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing glass products. Manage glass materials handling to minimize waste and ensure proper storage. Supervise and mentor team members to maintain high standards of safety and workmanship. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all phases of installation. Qualifications Proven experience as a Glazier with a strong background in installing windows, shower cubicles, mirrors, and other glass fixtures. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools for glass cutting, shaping, and installation tasks. Knowledge of handling various glass materials safely and efficiently. Leadership skills with experience supervising or leading a team of glaziers or construction workers preferred. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges effectively. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
