The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, including windows, doors, and storefronts. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a construction environment. The Glazier will also collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure high-quality results. Responsibilities Install, repair, and replace glass in residential and commercial buildings. Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions accurately. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing. Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other tradespeople on construction sites. Perform heavy lifting of glass panels and other materials as needed. Fabricate custom glass pieces according to project specifications. Hang doors and install fixtures as part of the overall project scope. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites. Experience Proven experience in glazing or related fields such as frame carpentry or drywall installation is preferred. Familiarity with construction painting techniques is a plus. Previous experience with cabinet installation or fixture installation is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions is essential. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship are required.
