Overview TexGlass & Budget Blinds is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Installer who already has construction experience and specializes in glass, mirrors, and window treatments. In this pivotal role, you will oversee installation projects from start to finish, ensuring precision, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of complex installations, coordinate with team members and clients, and uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, showcase your technical skills, and contribute to transforming spaces with beautiful, functional glass and window solutions. Thank You Responsibilities Lead installation projects for glass panels, mirrors, windows, and custom window treatments, ensuring adherence to measurements and technical specifications. Interpret measurements, drawings and all window treatment types accurately to facilitate precise fabrication and installation. Supervise and coordinate installation teams by providing guidance on the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding to ensure safety and efficiency. Read all and each job details, prepare materials and coordinate installation tasks. Measure dimensional specifications on-site using tape measures and other tools to guarantee perfect fitment of materials. Oversee the fabrication process for custom glass and mirror pieces, collaborating with fabrication teams as needed. Conduct construction inspections during each phase of installation to verify quality standards are met. Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to construction site operations. Communicate effectively with team, supervisor and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a focus on building material installation such as mirror, glass and window treatments. Ability to accurately cut glass and mirror, installation a shower doors and mirror is preferred. Required to accurately be able to read a measuring tape and use a level. Strong knowledge of construction techniques and ability to interpret technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, ladders and scaffolding safely on construction sites. Demonstrated experience in installing fixtures such as glass panes, mirrors, and window treatments. Familiarity with glazing and window treatment inspection procedures to ensure quality control throughout projects. Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards on-site. Posses a strong and dependable work ethic, strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. Self starter. Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
