Glazier/Installer

Longview Glass Co. has been providing commercial and residential glass services for over 75 years. We take pride in providing quality products and services to our customers in our local East Texas area, as well as across Texas and neighboring states. Our commercial division works with general contractors, and architects to provide glass storefronts, window walls, slope walls, curtain walls, heavy glass systems, skylight systems, bullet resistant and custom glass needs, for construction projects of all sizes. We are currently seeking Experienced Commercial glaziers and installers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have prior verifiable experience installing various commercial glass products, as well as a strong working knowledge on how these systems function.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and install glass and other materials for Curtainwall and Storefront systems, doors, and windows
• Ability to fabricate and install metal frames for glazing
• Installation of sealants to ensure proper weatherproofing
• Following ALL safety procedures and use appropriate tools and equipment
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure accurate and proper installation

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a glazier or in a similar role
• Proficient in using tools and equipment for glass work
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Strong work ethic and strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues during installations
• Ability communicate clear and effectively Experience
• 2+ years of proven experience as a commercial glazier Pay rate will vary based on your experience and knowledge.
